MEET OUR TEACHERS!!!
Jessica Lubin - owner/teacher
Jessica Lubin returned to her hometown of Albany last January, after her life path took her to almost around the globe. During her 10 years living in Manhattan she began explored yoga as a way to “decompress” from city life. Two years ago she moved to Guatamala to help build a bottle school, and intensified her study of yoga and holistic health there. She then traveled to Rishikesh, India for her month-long teacher training intensive. Her business, Good Karma Studio, opened in September 2011.
Lindsey Gates
Lindsey first discovered yoga in college as part of the curriculum while earning her BFA in Acting at NYU, and it has been an integral part of her life ever since. In 2010 Lindsey received her 200 hour teaching certificate at Heartspace here in Albany through her teacher, Lauren Toolin, and is registered with the Yoga Alliance. She continues her education currently through modules at Yogaworks in NYC. She has taught Chair Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Power Yoga and Yoga and Improv for The Town of Bolton and the Sagamore Hotel near her home on Lake George for two years. Lindsey loves that yoga is a way of working from the external to the internal, and she offers this complete way of practicing in her classes. Still a working actress, Lindsey discovered Hot Yoga in 2011 as part of a fitness routine for a particularly athletic part she was portraying and also enjoys sharing the full body workout and cleansing benefits of a heated practice with her students. Combining vinyasa flow, challenging static holds and core work we will build a practice as effective on the mat as it is off. |
Danielle Minuto
Danielle brings to her classes a lifetime of fitness including
marathon running, road cycling and spin classes. Danielle has been practicing various forms of yoga for about 8 years, including Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, and Bikram. From her first yoga class she knew it was going to be her passion. Yoga made her slow down and allow her body to enjoy a workout that didn't abuse her but repair all the years of pounding exercises. Finally the summer of 2012 she became an RYT a graduate of Frog Lotus, she loves yoga and is dedicated to spread the joy she has learned in her 200 hour intensive training! Danielle's vinyasa flow class works on connecting the prana (the breath- life force) with the asana's (postures). While having control of the breath on the mat you will be able to take the control off the mat in everyday situations, to maintain the sense of calmness and peace. The asanas can be modified for all practice levels. Her class is perfect way to energize the body finding your edge. Get strong and supple! Feel calm and happy Namaste! |

Cody White
Gravity Strength (TRX) Sat. 2:00pm-3:00pm I have been involved in fitness my entire life. Growing up I competed in many sports, and eventually focused on soccer. Through my teen years I played on a number of traveling teams, including an all Bosnian team. It was around that time I was first introduced to personal training and was hooked ever since. I have been training for 13 yrs now and continue to love what I do. My certifications have varied through the years with my longest being with AFAA and now currently under the International Sports and Fitness Trainers Association (ISFTA). I have worked and continue to work with clients from all walks of life. From youth programs, to weight loss, athlete training, and rehabilitation patients, I enjoy helping the challenges and rewards that come with all. For the past two years I have began to specialize in TRX (very similar to gravity strength)training after seeing what an amazing system it could be. My goal is to help educate and support any and everyone who would like to improve their health and overall well being through training! |
